Acknowledgements

I hand wrote this book in a kind of streaming consciousness, so I want to first thank the Collective Unconsciousness. Wait! I first want to thank myself, for allowing this book of affirmations to come to me. Isn’t it nice to know that we can never get it wrong? And the work will never be done because we are eternal? Thank you to Esther Hicks of Abraham-Hicks, whose voice I hear in my head often now. Thank you to Florence Scovel Shinn, Wayne Dyer, don Miguel Ruiz, Napoleon Hill, Jesus and many leaders and healers who have shared their paths. Claire Anstey, I may have found these other inspiring folks from your voice that I first heard on itunes with beautiful, positive affirmations read in your accent. Thank you to those who pave roads, that once seemed scary. And thank you to all of you who brought me divine contrast, so that I could clearly see what it was that I DO WANT by knowing what I don’t.  

 

Introduction

My hyper focus on negativity may have led me to my chronic depression, which, in hindsight led to my salvation from being depressed. I once described my observably smiley attitude to others as Pessimistic Optimism, by which I meant that I hope for the best while preparing for the worst. But that kind of thinking led me to not trust, to have a kind of foreboding looming over me all the time. That fear was pinching off my natural wellbeing. 

 

Now, I reject labels of my thought process as ‘depressed’ and know that I am in a constant state of betterment, of learning and growth. The title I Can Say That Better, are words taken literally from Esther Abraham-Hicks’ mouth, and I love the idea of continuous self-improvement, even in the moment while speaking, one can change one’s words to make a more pleasing arrangement that better conveys the idea. I’ve heard them say “I can say that better” during a rampage of appreciation or while guiding someone to a higher vibration. I can use the vibrational or emotional scale to see that if I am feeling discomfort around something that doesn’t sit right with me, for example a negative like fear or frustration, that I can use this information to then investigate what within myself feels untrue or does not resonate. What is a more clear statement for myself that rings true? How can I say that better?

 

Often, I will pick up the tiniest negative when I listen to affirmations. For example, if we want health, we no longer focus on illness or pain, but we speak words of health and appreciation for our body and wellbeing. Someone saying “no illness can harm me” as an affirmation, is speaking of what we don’t want, rather than what we do want, which is abundant health.  

 

These affirmation statements have been written from as positive a perspective as I could find, on my current vibration. However, they may hit a sour note with you at some point. It’s perfectly okay to rewrite the statement to fit what makes sense for you. Remember to focus on wanted, not the lack of unwanted in your rewrite. 

 

Most of all, I want you to have as blessed a life as you could want to have. Perfect health, wealth, love and self-expression are yours with faith and self-love. Give yourself self-soothing if needed, which I hope are the feeling behind these statements. I highly recommend being in a meditative state before reading these, but a drowsy before bed state or just woke up state is just fine too.

 

Abraham-Hicks says that if we can focus on wanted for just 17 seconds, we build momentum which moves us toward our vibrational Vortex, where everything we’ve been asking for is. Reading these affirmations will take you longer than that, which is a whole lot of momentum! Let’s flow!

All things in this Universe are connected; the strength of all things is found within me

By my own innate, intent, consent, and authority I now call forth my power, that I AM!

My highest good flows to me now, under Grace, in a perfect way. FSS

My abundant health is like a light that cannot be dimmed by darkness.

I have the radiant spirit that glows like a brilliant star.

My value and potential exceeds the wealth of this entire planet.

I am delighted by what shows up just for my enjoyment.

The Universe is a beautiful playground.

I am best friends with my Highest Good, Source, and the Universe.

There is no distance between my desire and the perfect manifestation.

I show up, with the divine energy that I AM, and I radiate that light.

What I give out comes back to me a thousand-fold.

Miracles happen everyday when I am one with my highest vibration.

Unseen forces bless my every step.

I am guided by divine good.

My intuition leads me as easily as I allow my breath to flow.

I see the divine potential of my fellow humans.

I can easily feel what is right for me.

My inner guidance is my best friend.

My knowing of what is right for me is unique and perfect for just me.

I trust the people I am guided to.

I am excited about what is to come, and I am joyful about the present moment. 

Won’t it be great when my dreams come true, and your dreams come true, and our dreams come true?

I can easily focus my attention on something I want.

Visualizing what I want is easy. 

I can remember the carefree feeling of childhood, in this body right now.

Like a child who sees dragons in the clouds, I can say “Boo!” to what used to frighten me.

I am a daydreamer of big things. 

I am a deliberate creator. AH

I was born knowing the building blocks of creation.

I could teach school kids way more than I was taught.

Learning is easy, and fun!

I enjoy being creative.

I learn to perceive what I used to call a mistake without judgment, but as learning and guidance. 

I can quickly adjust my point of attraction.

I can see my way from feeling down, to being angry, then frustrated, to being curious about a solution for the better, to feeling satisfied at my progress.

I can love the divine contrast for the clarity that it gives me!

I have a few favorite thoughts that I can call upon to bring a smile to my face. 

Focusing on something joyful for a few seconds helps me feel a shift in my vibration.

I am comfortable knowing I will always desire more, because the Universe is about expansion. 

There is nothing I cannot be, or do, or have; because this Universe has made me desire it, it must be so! AH

My work is to relax, and to allow myself to be guided. AH

I let go of the result, knowing there is no failure.

There is no wrong timing, because I am eternal.

I love new!

New is where my growth and expansion are found. 

The unknown is a beautiful place, filled with my dreams fulfilled. 

I can just think about my Vortex with appreciation of all I’ve put in there and be excitedly expecting good things to manifest around every corner!

Like a child on Christmas Eve, I know what I’ve asked for, and I excitedly expect to find it. 

I find new teachers and guides, and I easily sort through their teachings for what I will build on. 

I am making a way in the wilderness! Bible

I dig my ditches and prepare with Faith for the deluge. Bible/FSS

I act in Faith, knowing my desire is manifested. 

See? I am doing a new thing now! It springs forth. Bible

Today is the best day to plant a tree, because 20 years ago isn’t an option.

There are no limits to what I am capable of in a limitless Universe. 

There are currencies yet to be created.

I like thinking about how many galaxies I could see, and how many elements are yet to be discovered on planets I would be asked to name.

My Faith account is always full. FSS

My value expands exponentially. 

I look forward to pampering myself with luxuries.

I only want as much money as I can spend! EH

I am worthy of luxurious clothing and adorning myself as I wish for my own self-expression and satisfaction.

I love beautiful things surrounding me. 

I create best in an enriched environment. 

I allow myself to really have it all. 

I encourage myself to dream even bigger than I have been dreaming.

I encourage others to dream big too!

When expansion happens, we all win!

I’ve done it before. I’m doing it now!

What wonderful things can I, and the next generation, dream up?

How fun it is to watch them grow and learn, just like my Source watches me.

I love stretching myself into the new.

I love stretching my glorious body!

That morning stretch is the best feeling! I know my body loves it and I feel like I’m preparing myself for the expansion of the day!

I think Big!

Bigger!

How much bigger can I let myself be?

I can make room for the expansion that is to come. 

It’s okay to keep my dreams to myself. AH

I can lift up my Faith in myself to where I can do no wrong.

I live in the feeling of the wish fulfilled. NG

I am in a Universe of endless possibilities. 

I can remake myself daily. 

I feel expansion and energy with every breath. 

I love my ability to focus. AH

I love what wealth feels like, and I am eager for more!

I know that my value is ever expanding. 

Currencies are just waiting to have my face printed on them!

Galactic levels of priceless gems are waiting for me in my Vortex.

Value is innate within me. 

I easily find and resonate with positive vibrations everywhere I be.

I encounter radiant, loving people everywhere.

I find my life to be a delightful game of ‘What’s next to surprise and delight me?’

Random laughter and spontaneous giggles are a frequent occurrence for me. 

So easily I focus on this now moment of joy that the past is long forgotten and forgiven.

My emotions point me so clearly to what is wanted. 

My Source is so happy when we meet up at my Vortex!

I appreciate my Inner Being as a steady pointer to my Vortex.

We make a great, eternally expansive team!

Adding others to the expansion is as easy as identifying their Highest Good as the best next choice. 

Ask them “Which do you prefer, a healthy, flexible body, or the alternative?”

Speak of how wonderful it feels to have limbs to reach toward the sun!

I love the feeling of a full, deep, relaxing exhale, and the cool, refreshing inspiring inhalation that make my belly, chest and shoulders rise up.

I get to start each day with so much fresh potential!

There is a Universe of possibilities before me.

My body has an inner knowing that guides me to that which is most beneficial. 

Every cell in my body knows how to heal itself. 

The blueprints for a full and happy life are in each and every cell.

My focus on healthy states allows my natural ease and wellbeing to flow. 

Flow and ease are normal and natural for me. 

I love knowing that I am an eternal being whose natural state is joyful. AH

Sitting with my inner knowing of wellness is all I need to do. 

I am a human being, not a human doing. 

I don’t have to do anything just now, except to breathe. 

Allowing my breath is my most important work. 

I can do another breath that is deeper, and another, and so on. 

How and where and when are questions I am leaving up to the Universe to answer.

I am eager to see what the Universe has lined up for me. 

I love flowing love to someone loveable. 

I love giving to someone who is excited by what I can surprise them with. 

I am just so talented!

I learn new skills all the time. 

Learning is a joy!

I like a new challenge and creatively solving it. 

I listen to the guidance I receive. 

I admire myself for my progress.

I can learn to shift focus, just like that!
